You can make a difference

With the majority of HFA's patients unable to afford their treatment, supporting their surgeries is life altering for not only the patients but their families.

100% of all donations go towards HFA’s beneficiaries, including treatment fees, accommodation fees and transportation fees. We sincerely appreciates any donations, whether singular or regular. You are welcome to donate the whole treatment fees or a part of the treatment fees.

Ma Saung is 13 years old and was born with cerebral palsy. She received Achilles tendon lengthening surgery at Mawlamyine Christian Leprosy Hospital, that will help her walk. "I hope that one day I can be independent and walk to school on my own. I hope that my grandfather will no longer have to carry me,” she said.

Support our outreach projects

HFA's outreach projects provides access to health care to communities in Myanmar, through a number of health related activities that aim to improve the quality of life of beneficiaries while providing health education.

We sincerely appreciates any donations, and you are welcome to donate towards a specific outreach project or to all. In addition to financial support, we are also in need of new and unused women's underwear and reusable sanitary pads, in addition to soap.

ATTENTION

Due to the current situation, we are receiving donations through our sister organisation in Thailand, Burma Children Medical Fund.

Since the coup d'etat that took place on 1 February 2021 in Myanmar, we are NO longer able to accept wire transfers. Most banks in Myanmar are closed and only a limited number of ATMs are operating. There is also a withdrawal limit, with most banks only allowing small amounts of money to be withdrawn in a day.
